  • first time ive ever seen 60" rows.why do you think 30" is to close? around here there are a few guys that plant 15" corn

  • We've planted corn for years in 30 inch rows trying to get a yield, but there just isn't enough water. We're shelling 85 day corn in 5 foot rows yielding 95 bushels. Can't wait to get into the 106 day stuff.

  • that makes sense. did you just use a regular corn head or did you modify one for the wider rows?

  • We had 3, 8 row corn heads allready. We tried to imagine a 4 row 60 corn head, but it seemed a little rediculous. How big would the snouts be??

  • because 30" is too damn close together.
