Tempest 2000, a famous game on a not so famous console - The Atari Jaguar. This 1994 game is a remake of the classic 1981 arcade game called Tempest. The music in this game was made by Ian Howe, Alastair Lindsay and Kevin Saville of Imagitec Design Inc., also known as Dream Weavers. Tempest 2000s intense techno music was so popular that a CD containing its entire soundtrack was made. But enough with the information, enjoy the music from this great and rare video game gem!

  • this song is Beast

  • @megamanangel Bah! I have NTSC Jaguar CD connected to my PAL jaguar and I'm using Sega Master System ac adapter and it still works fine ;)

  • "Ease yourself back into consciousness..." It was sampled from an old self- hypnosis record.

  • Definitely my favorite song from this game.

It was an alright console, but due to the way it was built (not being an actual 64-bit console) it was difficult to develop games on. Didn't help that the CD add-on was of worse manufacturing quality than an Intratec Tec-9.

  • @AMYuntold Dont forget the CD addon for the ATari Jaguar. Self aware pieces of shit that wont work.

  • The worst gamepad designers of all time killed Atari. The Jaguar was a remarkable system for the time, but the serial failures of their stuff after the Atari2600 (also due to their controllers primarily) led to a critical lack of interest for Atari products. And not to mention, the Jaguar also has that stupid telephone button layout, who the hell at Atari was the big brain behind that idea?!

  • ease yourself by your subconsciousness.
