Shawn K. Clement - Kennedy Center - Wounded Warrior's Hymn

Shawn K. Clement's Wounded Warrior's Hymn was recently performed at the Kennedy Center as a premiere at the Tribute for Wounded Warriors. The piece received a standing ovation and
was performed by a 106 piece orchestra, 247 member chorus and Shawn's long-time friend, Jon Anderson (lead singer of Yes). The Wounded Warrior's Hymn was derived from the brilliant music score Mr. Clement wrote for the animated feature film Quantum Quest. The original score for the film Quantum Quest was recorded at George Lucas' legendary
Skywalker Ranch with the San Francisco Philharmonic, also known as the Skywalker Orchestra. The film boasts an all-star cast from the Star Wars and Star Trek films
including Chris Pine, Samuel L. Jackson, Hayden Christensen, Robert Picardo, Brent Spiner,
James Earl Jones, William Shatner and Mark Hamill as well as Jason Alexander,Amanda Peet, Sandra Oh, Doug Jones and Astronaut Neil Armstrong. The music score for Quantum Quest was nominated for best score at the Hollywood Music in Media Awards and won a
Global Music Award. The soundtrack for the film was released in 2011.
