Now, they've given Lawler an opponent in Manhoef who seems perfectly capable of knocking him out and sending him back to the middle of the pack in the organization.

Melvin is a crap fighter.

He has an exciting brawler style and a glass chin. If he fought lawler 10 times, he'd probably knockout lawler once and get knocked out 9 times. LAwler didn't get lucky, he fought smart, waited for openings that he knew were coming, then knocked Melvin the fuck out.
