  • From one shooter to another, at about 6:35 it looks like your trigger pull is a lil "jerky". Might just be the video but at 600 yards any discrepancy in trigger pull is gonna become very evident. no criticism intended, good shooting!

  • @jpspeagle

Everyone seems to think that I slap / jerk / yank the trigger.

I know that good trigger control helps with shot placement. But I was always taught to keep your finger off the trigger unless you intend to shoot, and remove it after shooting.

After watching numerous slow motion videos of my trigger finger, I can tell you that I do not let go of the trigger untill well after recoil. The bullet is long gone before I let off the pressure.

    Thanks for the tips anyways.

  • that wouldnt be spin drift would it?

  • @ryandpahl

well i dont know who taught you and im not knocking them at all, but if you want to achieve long range accuracy your going to have to practice a slow steady trigger "squeeze" the only thing keeping you from being really accurate from what i see is the way your "pulling" the trigger instead of a nice steady squeeze you already know your ready to shoot your muzzle is already safely pointed down range so you're not being dangerous just practicing good technique

  • @ryandpahl I understand that but a .22 bullet is to light for that range. It is easily possible with a heavier bullet. I was just telling him its too light for that range.

  • @GotYaGood123

thats what adjustable sights are made for. Compensating for wind drift and drop.

  • @RockinMissZ No. You must be very retarded in the subject of guns. With a .22 at that range, it would be impossible to hit with the wind blowing like that. It would be an amazing shot(if possible) to even hit it at that range with no wind at all. A .22 bullet is so light that the wind would knock it off course by several several meters at that range.

If I wanted one in the true look, I would try and find a long branch with its origional wood. I only paid $100 for this one. Cheap for such a great piece of history.

  • @ryandpahl u should try to return it back to its original condition, the wood for it isnt expencive then u just need the metal band

  • @Gunluver1

I didn't, unfortunately thats the way it was when I bought it.
