Harbata 28.12.07 - Apartheid route 443

Harbata al Misbach villagers went for non-violent demonstration against the Apartheid road, route 443, that going on their land but prohibited for their movement.
the demo was quite and peacefull so why did the Border Policemen decided it should end the way it ended?
