  • Batfa.com writes: US$ 165.000 + Shipping cost + Marine insurance US$ 380.

  • Go to wikipedia and search for "Toyota Century". And you will find the answers.

  • I think Toyota doesn't see a great chance for this old-fashioned car in the abroad. The most luxury car buyers are prefering high-tech cars in this class - like Lexus LS.

  • It's not a wonder. At example Queen Elizabeth is prefering high class velour in her royal limousines too.

  • Is the Toyota Century available in the Us?

  • No, not at normal Toyota dealers. But you can order this car at Japanese Import Companies....

  • @mtech20 Yeah i know ;) Its just that im a big RR and Bentley fan, and ive seen the craftsmanship that goes into building them. Thats something no Japanese manufacturer can match im afraid. Some drivers blab on about Lexus, but to me its just a big Toyota with a few gizmos. But, as i say, im biased :) Its always good to have a friendly, healthy debate. Its what makes youtube interesting.

  • @aircooledwizard I think we are on the same page. I wasn't putting you on blast, but rather just adding my 2 cents. That's all. :)

  • @mtech20 Hi mtech20. Im responding yo Xiber1's comment who says it can compete with RR and Bentley, when it clearly cannot :) As a stand alone car, yeah its fine. But definitely nowhere near the standards of the hand crafted luxury brands.

  • @aircooledwizard I agree the RR & Bentley are on another level. But this vehicle was an incredible achievement for Toyota during this time period. I wouldn't call this Japanese plastic crap, but to each his own. This was a largely hand made vehicle, and an astounding achievement for the Japanese. They wanted their own RR, so they built their best interpretation of it. I don't know why we can't appreciate cars without ruthlessly segmenting and comparing them to other lofty standards. 2 cents

  • Toyota Century compared to Bentley and Rolls Royce? What the hell are you dripping on about? Two are hand made by craftsmen, the other is a piece of Japanese plastic with a few buttons scattered over it. I honestly believe you have no idea of what luxury is. I have spent my life around cars, Toyota and Lexus (same brand) are absolute crap compared to RR and Bentley. I bet 99% of you have never driven a Lexus, let alone a Roller. You compare on paper, pathetic.

  • @Yonifan Yes, and they are not the audience for this car, never were- never will be. This is about Japanese luxury for Japanese. These cars are also scattered around the globe for the elite. King of Saudi Arabia has the only working one in the Kingdom.

  • This car was ready for junior high school, such as Japanese politicians. Japanese people must feel, to Japan's resources without sufficient Corolla.

I will tell everyone in the world!

In Japan, Toyota is a low-wage workers employed in a time-limited. Toyota's essence, it is a brutal business.

  • Lexus's Daddy

  • @JodyGmsN1kK

Toyoyta Century is in a league above all those cars you've mentioned, Century is up against cars like the Rolls Royce Phantom and Bentley Mulsanne.

  • this is for CEOs, Senators, and Governers in Japan.
