Mothers was AMAZING! Used to go to the one in Barrie on the way to the cottage when I was a kid back in the 80s. It was the place with the red and white checkered tablecloths to me lol. They had great spaghetti as well as pizza. It's great that it's coming back! Hopefully it'll be as good!

my father always brings up this place I'm assuming it was special. I have a photo of me when I was a little girl there having a birthday thats all I remember about it.

Hey, all of you who used to like Mother's Pizza: you'll be happy to know (if you don't already) that they're re-launching this place, with a whole new logo and atmosphere, according to Wikipedia. Gives those of us who never had the pleasure of trying this place, the first time around, a whole new chance to try it. My father is particularly happy about the upcoming re-opening. He and my mom used to eat here, quite a bit when I was little. Dad said their food was amazing. : )

My parents often tell a story about Mother's Pizza. When I was a child, the waitresses used to wear split skirts. One time, I put my hand up one particular waitresses skirt and pinched her. The poor woman turned around to clock my father, only to see the look on my face and realize that it wasn't him :P

There one Mothers in Oshawa on the corner of Ritson & King but it closed in either 1996 or 1997. Damn that Pizza was good. It tasted different then the other generic pizza places.
