  • lool 5km. if i were you i wouldn't be recording this but riding for hours maan

The Red Line has nothing to do with engine size. A ZX6R Red Lines at 17000rpm. My SV650 Red Lines at 10500rpm. My old 125cc Red Lined at 9000rpm whereas my mates 125cc Red Lined at 11000rpm. The old CBR 250cc bikes Red Lined at 19000rpm. Generally the more cylinders you have the higher the engine will rev to a certain extent.

What im saying is that on a smaller bike it will wind out and you will have to shift a lot faster even will stock gearing..Now if you get on a 1000 or even a 800 you can get up to 20 30 mph before shifting or sounding like you winding your bike right threw the roof.

Lol dude ive been red lining bikes my hole life and thats no lie..Wjile riding you can red line the bike before you shift and it will not harm the bike my bike has over 20,000 miles on it and runs like new and shes been red lined a few to mant times ; )..Look t up people red line there bikes all the time

  • My 2008 Ninja Zx6-R. 100RWHP,17k rpm, 0-60 in about 2.5 sec.....0-189mph in about a mile.

  • @GunsClap315 Actually the bikes limit out at 17k rpm. If you want to take the limiter off and reach 20k you can go ahead and try it without blowing a gasket or the whole motor.

  • cant wait to pick up my zx6r in a few months

  • @GunsClap315

I don't know what you mean? The x1000 on the tach is just telling you that you multiply every number on the tach by 1000. So this bike was idling at 2 which means 2000rpms.

  • @IP1NKYI

Shure it has to do with the engine size a 250 wouldnt rec out at 20 grand!!
