must be a different type of Assuit. It almost has a slik pressence. It's beautiful. I just ordered a robe of the 'New' assiut. I love it a ton!!!!! I wish vendors still sold whole robes in my area.

Hi - not a copy of antique fabric but made from real assuit veils (also called tulle bi telli). And Juliana did train with Suraya. I made a dress myself but it's scary cutting up such wondeful fabric!

the dress is made of a copy of the antique egyptian fabric assiut and I believe this was used in Suraya Hilals shows "Colors of Cairo or Divine rites. The coreography is also very similar to Hilals style so I think the dancer here got her ispiration from Suraya, beautiful music & dance, I just love this way of baladi.
