Before leaving the boat for our snorkel to Sandy Spit, Capt. Colin gives us a very informative talk about the geology of Sandy Spit and the surrounding islands (Sorry about the wind! Either turn up your volume or just enjoy the views!). Sandy Spit, an acre of sand just off Green Cay, Jost Van Dyke, may well be the most beautiful island in the world, or, at the very least, the most photographed! It is the quintessential deserted island where your imagination can run wild! Completely surrounded by sand, as well as a very good snorkeling coral reef, Sandy Spit only has a few shrubs with little shade, so be sure to put on your sun screen before going to the island. • Scott, Yes, Capt. Colin picked us up on JVD. We also strongly recommend nearby Sandy Cay, with a lovely trail and fantastic views.

  • Nice tour, I added it to one of my playlists.. (Patty)

  • Did this tour pick you up on Jost? Such a beautiful place, can't wait to go. I hope Hurricane Earl didn't do much damage.
