  • maybe american (BUICK) but it was a scotsman that founded it .

  • Whats with moaning about V8s? Peoples arseholes produce more gas than cars, do we kill the people?Go & plant trees or something not moan here!

  • @AnthonyUK It is and... you silly stupid care taking Soccermom

C'mon people stop buying priuses the world its gonna end in 2012 theres nothing you can do by buying hybrids. So in these SHORT two years lets enjoy the big v8s before we all pass out!!!

  • The chinese ruin or copy everything

  • I cant help but think it was a complete waste of time putting this lazy thirsty v8 engine in the 75.

If they had given it a more powerful diesel like the jag V6 it would have had a point and might have sold.

  • @rover75eu

True, but it's all relative. The Mustang engine is utterly dire when it comes to economy, performance and emissions. It is ancient, low tech and looks like a dog's dinner whenever you open the bonnet! Rover should have used the 300PS 4.2 V8 from Jaguar - or a German V8 - and it would have been more powerful, more economical and much more beautiful.

  • @BLyons40 I live near the US/Mexico border in Yuma, Arizona and see what looks like a Rover 75 every so often with Mexican license plates. I have never had a chance to look at it, to see what it actually is, and whether it is the V8 or not. Perhaps, someone can enlighten me if Rovers were ever exported to Mexico in the last few years of independent ownership?

  • @leonardbullhock You are rude!

  • @AnthonyUK .. and? Some fat bastards are uneconomical with food
