I love this song; it helped get me through a tough time in early 1996 when I was new in Seattle and unemployed (the woman in my life never did move up there, though). Things got better, though. God bless you and your beautiful blue eyed baby girl!

Respect to you my brother. I too am a father of a little girl and this song reminds me of both my wife AND my little girl. I cried the day she was born, I will cry when she grows up and will cry a river when I have to give her away. REAL men feel love for their families and are not ashamed to let the world know. This has always been my favorite Tracy Byrd song. His voice is in great form here. I used to play this song in my truck and people always thought it WAS a Marty Robbins song. Good job on the audio quality and volume level too.

wow i was trying to find this old tracy byrd song on here that i just loved and so glad you posted it and i have to say the pics of your daughter along with it are awesome........i remember taking my mom to his concert in her wheelchair and how much this song reminded me of her in my dads eyes..they were married 64 years when she passed....i guess the torch is passed to your daughter RIP mom 4/21/24 - 1/10/07
