Remembering The founder of Subud

Bapak Muhammad Subuh Sumohadiwidjoyo the founder of Subud from Kedungjati. He was born safely at 5:00 am on Saturday Wage, the third day of Maulud in the year of Dhal, 1831 or June 22nd 1901, was named Sukarno. However, because he was sickly, his name was changed to Muhammad Subuh.
And He passed away at dawn the following morning,23 June 1987 in Jakarta Indonesia.

God is LOVE and this is NOT found in Subud ,end of story. Ps I was in Subud for 10 yrs and visited and practised latihan with 10 groups and met Bapak 3 times at congresses ect ( 2 national and one world congress). Let go of your ego and come to Christ.

Subud is a vehicle for Islamic proselytization of the Western Culture which is predominantly Christian and dates back to murky occultic practices practised by Bapak and others of the era who dabbled in spiritualism ect. Free yourself from the spirit of the latihan and find the one true living God and his Son Jesus Christ and THEIR SPIRIT which is totally different from the egotistic self absorbing deceptive spirit of the latihan.

He does not expect endless attempts at purification in the latihan which is a delusion anyway despite peoples imagined and deluded spirituality in Subud. the Bible is explicitly clear on this and that is why you will not find any biblically literate Christians in Subud because they know what the Bible says and they can see that Subud is a cult when held up in the piercing light of Gods Word.

Bapaks contact or latihan could never provide cleansing and forgiveness of sins. No matter how much you imagined or what sort of experiences you had it was all a lie and deception. God accepts only one sacrifice for sins and that was Jesus Christs sacrifice on the cross 2000 yrs ago.

The gate is Jesus Christ and the way is set out clearly in the Bible. You must repent (change your mind and turn around) and put your total faith and trust and adherence in Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of sins and the receiving of the Holy Spirit and eternal life (NOT the spirit of the latihan).

@gcc922 My reasoning behind this is based on the Word of God which is the Bible alone. The Bible says those who teach any other way to salvation other than what Jesus Christ taught and preached are like a robber who climbs up and over the gate like a thief. He doesnt go through the gate.

Humans at large do not know who Bapak is...

He is very very likely the "Imam Mahdi" as mentioned in The Koran. He was commissioned by God Almighty to teach humans a method of meditation / prayer / latihan, which can help one to awaken the Divine in Self or what is also described as, "Roh Allah or Zat Allah within Self.

Just a thought by a non-Subud.
