The Coffeehouse Cafe(s) was a cable program that was intiated by Mike Short. Mike Short had brought the concept of the show to Joe Borkowski and Joe Rosochacki. They, in turn, invited a cornucopia of Detroit based musicians to be involved with this production. The program was taped in Troy, Michigan, in a middle school. The run of show ran 9 episodes; all of which were 30 minutes in length. (bad audio)

  • @BrianEnright I second that emotion. I see there are Josh White Jr. videos too! I'm so excited that I can hardly type! I've been searching for years. I particularly loved Ron's version of the Albert Nobles poem titled "The Highwayman." Thank you 1954joeguitar, for all your efforts in uploading. Outstanding!

  • So many good memories of taking others to see Ron Coden over the years...
