Do you sell any high quality, but cheap drums, the corps of drums of my band are replacing the drums.

Ick... I hate how British snares sound so much more horrible than American snares...

Excellent Thank you so much!

Thanks so much. The top snares are a bit tricky to figure out at first.
Any tips for optimum head tension?
And which heads would be best for this drum?

@befford709 yes, the top snare takes a bit of trial and error as you have tension adjustment and also height adjustment, so just dont over tighten either (especially the height) ... Best just to have a good play around and you'll soon find the right sound. As regards heads, I suggest something like a smooth white Remo ambassador on the top, tuned up tight. Good luck with it all. Hello from Canada!
Great vid on a truly classic drum.
Our drummers have a set of 1049S and I was wondering if you had any tuning tips for this drum in particular?

@befford709 Many thanks for your kind comments. I think the important thing with these drums is to ensure that you dont choke the snare wires..for both top and bottom snares just loosen them off and then start to tighten them up again...stop once the rattling stops and leave it at that. Over tightening the snares kills the tone of this drum.I guess thats all i can say.... they are great drums, extremely popular over in the UK, and they should serve you well for years to come. Thanks again!
