I was born and raised in the bay as well, whata shame that I started on the lid as soon as I moved to newy, but i still get up fingal, anna bay every weekend almost, I have not surfed a wave more fast, powerfull and fun as boxy on its day.. in the context of beachys anyways.. bay reef and any reef around newy beat it bowl and powerwise in my opinion, ive been to nulla b4, surfed the island lefts,

@nmdking1 mate i was born n raised in port stephens,actualy anna bay where all the reefs are. Only been in cronulla 3years. The otha 25years i spent in the bay. So i can say what i want.i spent more time there then i doubt u ever have. Old skool rule!

fishermans bay reef mate....little hint for ya..between fishos and kingsley there 6 good reef setups that work on their days...cant stand surfing in a'bay any more...too many gromys...back in the 90's it was the poo and only a handlefull (my mates and i surfing the reefs)...mind you a'bay reef started to get packed back in 97-98..now its stupid...get a boat and surf the bombie out to sea behind the stretch from fishos to a'bay reef on a big south swell?...thought so!
