    I always thought Laurie Anderson was from another planet (in a good way). I respect her views here but the reality is that MOST of these graduates will never make a dime from their art and all those great opportunities she speaks of are pipe dreams. After years paying back student loans (at some menial job) the hope begins to fade. No, it isn't all about money BUT without some kind of support they eventually give up....or sacrifice and suffer dearly to make things that end up in a closet.
