This is not what you'd call a traditional instructional video. But hopefully, you'll find it entertaining.

If you have reversed the hammer strut, which is angled, you will have intermittent issue locking the hammer and weird double action feel. It will seem fine and then it will laugh at you. I learned that lesson the hard way of course.

I eventually figured it out, in about 100 dry fires everything seems fine...so far.

Good video very entertaining and sum what useful. And if the cat is such a pain, find a nice farm at least 25 miles away and drop him off. If you let him off closer he will find his way back home. My friend dropped his cat off 12 miles away and 3 days later he was back home.

Somehow I think my girlfriend would be upset if I did that.

As you said, this is why I use a gunsmith. I have seen more problems at matches due to home gunsmithing than anything else. Saw a few handguns go full auto and a few blow up. Saw ejectors go flying through the air. Worst is the problems from those who hand load and are less than careful. :)

When the camera's off he snuggles the cat. He doesn't really want to get rid of it. Cats are just fun to hate sometimes. ;-)

Great video, a lot of laughs. But by the stuff on your wall maybe you should stick to pulling the trigger.

Honestly? You had never taken that apart before? Before you start getting frustrated with your cylinder slowing down, buy the Brownell's cylinder disassembly tool. It will gunk up and be harder to turn and slow you down. Next time you disassemble the gun, take the cylinder apart, clean the innards and lube it. Good luck at the Nationals!

Don't use he spring retention pin to press the trigger set button! LOL Just use a screwdriver, punch, or any other tool that fits in there. It can be difficult to press the button sometimes.

BTW, there is at least one other video where you can see what is being done. It also shows a gunsmith doing the job so it's more informative. The only problem is that some idiot keeps yacking away behind him.
