Actually, improving relationships with African countries is probably a good idea. Africa has vast natural resources and shoring up fledgling democracies there would ensure trade that would benefit everyone. China has made large advances in Africa and we are falling behind. Having too many friends never hurt anyone, infact it would also help the war on terror.
