Yeah thats what I meant I bought the parts and assembled it myself. For me its just a personal preference, I like the Mac GUI better then Windows, but I do use Windows for gaming, so best of both worlds.. And yeah I do agree Apple does charge a premium, you end up paying a lot more just because it has an Apple on it =/.. And I'm not an AMD hater, I actually prefer AMD over Intel, I've always had and simply because price to performance ratio , but I have an Intel because I need to run Mac OS..

@appleloveTK I am pretty sure you didnt built it your self... you bought and assembled the parts...
and I really do not understand why you prefer Mac OS as a web designer... but that just me...
and no I am not a Windows fanboy I am on a Linux system... its free and it works just fine...and it runs Adobe software like Premiere Pro just fine..
My original point was that Apple charges their customers three times the price for their computer compared to a pc..

@SquirrelFromGradLife Actually I have a PC running Mac OSX, I'm not rich, and I'd never pay a premium for apple systems.. I'm a web designer, which is why I prefer Mac OS.. But yeah I've got a Core i5 2500K, Z68MA Motherboard, GTS 250 512MB Video Card.. I built it myself, in fact I've also over clocked it to 4.5GHZ so far..

@appleloveTK You forgot to mention that the AMD processors are far cheaper the Intel equivalent..
Personally I have an Intel processor simply because AMD is to bad at marketing the mobile processors to companies like Acer and getting their hardware into high end laptops etc...
For desktop users an AMD processor is usually far cheaper then an Intel one with the same performance but since you love Apple money has no meaning in the equation and you gladly pay three times the price for Apple.

I already bought a Core i5 2500K, its about time you guys release bulldozer, at least hand a couple out to some reviewers, that way we know what to expect.. Also to those people saying Intel sucks, I disagree, the new Sandy Bridge processors perform amazingly, infact they easily out perform the AMD equivalent in most benchmarks.. But thats not to say that AMD Phenom II Processors aren't any good, they also perform exceptionally for what your paying..

that is sweet
