Hard to choose the best Shai Hulud album but I think its this one. The lyrics, the riffs, the unexpected shifts and trasitions. Just all so damn good. Almost no other band in the history or hardcore or metal has the creativity of the songwriters on this album.

@huludicidal That's the best and worst part of Shai Hulud. Best because it sounds great with all the transitions. Worst because it's a pain to try to learn how to play =-)

@QuincyCrocodile I agree and I've heard people criticize the timing shifts and riff changes, saying that they'd be better sticking to a good riff. Maybe they don't hear it the same way we do? Either way I pity them, hah!
