Monk is the best addiction that I've ever had!

I finally found this song from Monk after many clicks of his music on You Tube and finally found it. It is my fave jazz song.

Been listening to this tune for years since my days in college in the mid 90's. Still can't get over the complexity and beauty of how it's performed! Love it! Jazz to the nth degree!

@Fuzorz. This is where I started too, and I've gotten further into the music than I ever thought I would. This is the shit right here. It hardly gets better

@QueenOfRed31 jazz is not about outdoing musicians, i don't think you're getting the point at all

holy cheezballz..monk's blowing was all amazing..but when he got the the 2nd chorus he just took off and went SIKKO. My fav jazz pianist! i mean the sax's solo was just out of this world but monk just OUTDID HIM!! it's like the two horses sham and secretariat..sham broke the record, but secretariat still beat him by 31 lengths!! YOU GO THELONIOUS!!! :D

What I meant was why do you think this is retarded? Monk is the king of bop, a true innovator. And if it's that you don't like jazz, why don't you consider the difference in music that there would be. Jazz influenced rock, hip hop, pop, reggae, funk, and nameless styles of music. Without jazz those styles wouldn't be around today. The least you can do is show some respect.
