Meena, martyred founder of RAWA in an interview in 1981

This is the only available video of Meena, but sorry that it is in Persian with no subtitle in English. She speaks about Russian occupation of Afghanistan and also about fundamentalist forces who, she says, are a threat to Afghanistan and its women and predicts that if they come to power, they will oppress our people badly. Sadly Meena's predictions were 100% true and when the fundamentalists came to power in 1992, they killed over 80,000 people in Kabul city alone, looted all riches of the country and changed Kabul city into ashes. Afghan people are still suffering under the tyranny of the Islamic fundamentalists, to whom Meena refers as "dark forces" in this interview. Because of her brave anti-Russian and anti-fundamentalists struggle, the Islamic Party of Gulbuddin Hekmatyar helped agents of KHAD (Afghanistan branch of KGB) in her assassination in 1987.

WOW she is so beautiful! I feel sad about her assasination, she was only 31! Everyone dies but it is names that lives for ever and her name and mission is still alive through her followers!

Meena gave 12 years of her short but brilliant life to struggle for her homeland and her people. She had a strong belief that despite the darkness of illiteracy, ignorance of fundamentalism, and corruption and decadence of sell outs imposed on our women under the name of freedom and equality, finally that half of population will be awaken and cross the path towards freedom, democracy and women's rights.

I May be over simplyfing this but they should just decriminalize all drugs including the poppy seed that opium is made from. That way the government could under cut the criminals and regulate the drugs and elimnate the violence.

lol i apologize. we have started off on the wrong foot. maybe we can have a more in depth conversation about what you think is beneficial about communism especially in afghanistan. personally i feel that communism was the doorway to decades of misery for the afghan people.
