Gotta Say Goodbye--new original song

hello everyone, here's a new song that i wrote a couple weeks ago. it's about...guess...saying goodbye to someone or dealing with the end of a really fun time. but anyway i hope you enjoy it and let me know what you think :)

you try to embrace the time you've got left but
in the back of your mind you know it's all ending soon
that kinda kills the mood
and when you know all the good time is almost through
you wanna run like the wind and avoid the truth

i guess that i should get up and move right along
but instead i just sit here writin this song

i've come to the end of a real fun road

everything's changing makin me nervous
where is the smile i wore before all this
had to change

i wanna know that things'll get better
