Al Franken answers the question: What if all the "chickenhawks" (enthusiasts for war who never served themselves), people such as Rush Limbaugh, George Will, Pat Buchanan, Newt Gingrich, actually were in the same platoon together during the Vietnam war.

  • It's so true. Limaugh, who supported the war, yet got out of it because of a boil on his ass, constantly attacked Clinton, who did not support the war, for dodging the draft because he refused to fight for something he didn't believe in.

    Hypocrisy at its finest.

  • Actually, it seems like about 70% percent of American are listening to the libs on Iraq.

I'm not going in circles. Please explain how I am. I made a perfectly clear, perfectly valid point. If you're too big a moron to understand that's your fault.

It's not like we're talking quantum physics. People who support a war and refuse to fight in it are cowards. People who do not support a war and refuse to fight in it are not.

  • This story should be made into a cartoon video

  • @ralphosize Actually Eisenhower initially got us involved in Vietnam; JFK and Lyndon Johnson expanded our involvement. Luckily Nixon had the good sense to get us out of Vietnam.

  • @jamesjeffreypaul "I'm glad you posted this. It will further derail Franken's political campaign."

Yeah, how's that working out for you?

  • Mega Dildoes, dude.

  • I know Clinton didn't serve. That was my point. It was okay because he didn't support the war, and rightfully so because Vietnam was a bullshit war.

Clinton never lied about where he was during the war unlike the awol Bush. He wasn't one of the cowards who cried out for war but only as long as others take the risks and make the sacrifices.
