Yancy Davis, Executive Director of Iron Sharpens Iron Organization is interviewed by Fox 4 News on 03/21/2009 during ISI, American Civil Liberties Union and East Meets West of Troost's protest at the Power & Light District in downtown Kansas City, MO during the NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament to speak out against the Cordish Company, the P&L district developer's racist and discriminatory dress policiy code designed to keep African American and Hispanic males from patronizing the district. The code was being disproportionately enforced against Black and Hispanic males. Afterward 2 years of numerous complaints, public debates, hearings and testimonies from supporters and opponents, the City Council voted unamimously to pass an ordinance prohibiting discriminatory dress codes from being implemented at taxpayer subsidized businesses and entertainment districts.
