  • i cant import .mov files. everytime i try importing a file it says unknown file. any help?

  • ok I do this but I import HD video and I want HD output but as soon as I import it it becomes like 440x240 or something small. Does anyone know how I can make it import as HD??? PLEASE HELP!

  • @cstreitercow Try right clicking on 'sequence 1' for example, then click>settings>load sequence preset and click the drop down menu and select 'Apple Intermediate Codec 720p25' hope that helps :)

  • @cstreitercow Haha no worries! Glad it worked for you. I had the same issue afew months ago, had to figure it out through trial and error which took ages, there's literally nothing on the internet about changing the aspect ratio.

  • I have a question. when i click to render it says that there is insufficient disk space and that i need to clear it up in the render manager. when I go to the render manager it is empty and there no files in there. why is that?

  • my video files in MPG format aren't able to open in quicktime and final cut express as well. will i be able to do so once i convert the files to MOV format? i'm having a lot of trouble finding a free converter as well! :(

  • hi there. can i ask - is it best to render clips one by one after they have been imported or all at once in one go? i noticed it takes an AGE to process if all together...just wondered how you did it- maybe one by one at a time?

    please let me know. im fairly new to FC well, been learning it at uni but now have to make sure im super up to date with it for a job im going for :D
