Hello You-tubers. I couldn't resist having a go at another Smiths song. I have always loved the intro to this track, and It gave me the chance to attempt a bit of piano which was interesting. Also some Nashville and standard tuning across two guitars. I think I would describe this song as depressingly beautiful, or beautifully depressing? Either way, yet another masterpiece from Morrissey and Marr. An absolute pleasure to learn and to play. Hope you enjoy it.
Take it easy, Cheers, Al

  • Hi CrackMonkeyMonk. The only think I didn't record through the toneport +gearbox on this one was the piano intro which I played through Reason. Once I've made these vids I rarely play them again afterwards so I don't keep presets, I find the best way for me is to start from scratch and choose an amp/cabinet/mic combo that works for you and your equipment to achieve the sound your after. If there's a specific sound your struggling with message me and if I can help I will, Cheers

  • @Alan2496 I can't believe you're doing all of this with a Toneport... Would you accept to share your presets ?

  • Thanks very much CrackMonkeyMonk

  • Amazing
