  • my program was 4 months. 2months of theory and 2 months of clinicals. Shortly after, the hospital where i did my clinicals hired me. And yes i do make pretty good money. I guess the people that say we don't aren't tech themselves. I took the course to learn my instrumentation b4 i started my surgical tech program, and I dont regret taking it.

  • @reeray1017 Well of course you learn more on the job, that is with every single job on earth. REAL experience is taught in REAL settings. My friend did the program in 4 months and got hired right away and makes 21 an hour.

  • anyone know whts the name/kinds of the books needed for this course?(im going to sait) i need to know if its available in ebook, coz im planning to use ipad, and they say tht ebooks are way cheaper thn the actual book. thanks a lot!!

  • @reeray1017

That's not true. I finished this course in 3 months, and I was hired pretty fast. I live in Boston.

    I started working in February.

It's not hard....and it's also interesting. The money is actually good, what do you expect? We only take a THREE MONTH COURSE...not a three year course.

  • It's a lot more complicated that this video could possibly show. The Classes are BS. You learn more ON THE JOB!!! good luck getting hired too! They don't even make good money!
