What a great song..wow its great.

stand up has some amazing songs on it. granted the studio versions aren't great, but live there amazing. Old Dirt Hill, Dreamgirl, You Might Die Trying, Smooth Rider, Louisiana Bayou and Out of My Hands are amazing songs that often find there way on to a set list on any given night. So dont hate on the material from Stand Up. I might even venture to say that Old Dirt Hill is in my top 5 Dave songs ever. But wtf do i know

I saw the Charlie Rose interview too, but either way DMB's worst album beats a lot of other bands best albums.

It cracks me up when people say they don't like something from Stand Up, I have even heard people say they don't like Big Whiskey, but you know what Dave would say? "If you don't like it, listen to it again. And if you still don't like it, to bad, 'cause I like it"

dave has admitted that the last 3 albums before big whiskey were not up to the bands potential at all, he said that stand up shouldve been titled as dave matthews band featuring mark batson. i like stand up dont get me wrong, but it is def not as good as the big 3. i love big whiskey, dave really went back to writing what he wanted to like the early days and the band just really got it together on big whiskey. but everyones got their own opinion i guess.

The band would and does agree, Stand Up is their worst CD. It's bad
