Governor Bob Ehrlich makes a surprise appearance at the March 18, 2010 Montgomery County Republican Party Lincoln Day Dinner. RobertDyer.net was there to capture his speech in these EXCLUSIVE videos.
Gov. Ehrlich (who served as Maryland governor from 2003-2007), expected to announce his entrance into the 2010 gubernatorial race next week, spoke about the recent decline of Montgomery County and Maryland. And the importance Montgomery County will have in deciding the election and future of the state.
Maryland citizens are pumped up for the Bob Ehrlich campaign!
Former Secretary of State Lawrence Eagleburger was the speaker at the dinner, which was held at the Hilton Rockville on Rockville Pike.
@MARYLANDSTATEVOTERS Your right, they dont want private sector job creation right now! The Dems just want to keep state employees employed (Public Unions obligations). And for everyone else, just keep the EUI benefits and welfare checks rolling. That's what keeps them elected.

@SteveLebowitzJustda What kool-aid are you drinking? Get your facts straight. The Gov of NJ as cut spending and has not raised ANY taxes; he does not need to. OWE Malley should take notes from him. OWE Malley balanced the budget with stimulus dollars this year, and all it really did was help state employees keep their jobs. That money is about gone now. I wonder what he will do next year. Probably raise taxes like he said he would not; that's what Dems do. The Gov of NJ is right about MD.

@SteveLebowitzJustda You mean the Democratic Legislature raised the property taxes in MD. Some seem ignorant of the process in this state where Democrats have dominated government for decades.

Go figure New Jersey's new GOP governor is picking on Maryland. He just broke his promise not to raise taxes only six days after taking office, beating former Maryland Republican Gov. Bob Ehrlichs record by two months.
Has anyone forgotten Bob Ehrlich raise property taxes 57 percent less than two months after taking office? The next year he raised taxes $2 billion, according to the otherwise GOP-friendly Maryland Taxpayers Association.
