this process can be much more automated then what you describe here. I use NEC Express dictate software v 5.53, with a Philips speech mike pro 5272. I dictate a document into Express dictate, it codes the voice file, sends it to a predetermined folder, where Dragon dictate senses it using a built in function called the "Auto transcribe agent", then transcribes it into a target folder. bang, its done!
