I have taken CSS, levels 1-4. I remember this drill - it's really useful! It seems the video ended before it was made clear that as you are sliding across the seat the hips move first as both knees remain in contact with the tank. Once the hips have moved, for example from left to right then the right knee is extended. This allows the rider to NOT use the bars to stabilize the bike AND keeps the rider constantly in contact with the tank.

Appreciate every bit of this positive reenforcement. I against my better judgement sold my 05 r1 to a dipshit, it only took him 6 weeks to end up in the hospital, I even gave him my copy of total control but he never read it.... He thought the bike came with a bag of skills
