what kind of surface do they use to be ableto slide but have traction on they're feet? or is it just they're costumes that slide easily?

I reckon it's the costumes that give them the ability to slide. It would take a while to make the stage slippery then remove it for the next act on time.

Singers aren't perfect

Remember that it's hard, even for a professional singer, to sing 10 shows weekly on this level. And this is an DVD were audio can be mixed and vocals can be made more smooth. In my opinion the new singers, well new 2003 and 2004 present, are not bad at all. They just have different timbres and vocalstyle and that brings something new to the shows music , and that isn't bad at all to keep to whole musical line alive trought that way.
