14" Fiskars camp axe with my own 550 military paracord handicraft making it a one of a kind hiking, camping or survival companion consisting of:
MAIN HANDLE = a long 3-turn turks head knot with 3 individual 20+/- strands makeup the main handle for a total of 60'+/-
TOPPER KNOT = a 5-turn turks head knot with 1 individual 5'+/- strand (w/ inner cords removed)
ADJUSTABLE WRIST LANYARD = 4 individual 4'+/- strands in a sinnet for a total of 16'+/-

In total, there is more than 65' of paracord in this hatchet that in a true emergency could be unraveled to make a life saving shelter, fishing line, traps and snares for food. The unbreakable, yet hollow fiskars handle is perfect for storing a mini-kit (not included) with additional items such as a firesteel, tinder and fish hooks. For day to day use, the extremely sturdy and tight wrap provides and excellet grip that the "off the shelf" Fiskars/Gerbers lack with their slick handles.

  • wow that must of taken a lot of paracord

  • @thesurvivalexpert101 around 75' total. BTW if you like videos please click the "share" button on videos, subscribe to my kevingg2000 youtube channel, and share to your social networks, follow me on twitter, like my facebook page etc. thanks again!

  • I would buy one. Make them and sell them on Ebay.

  • @jadepond7172 I used to sell these on ebay, not worth it. I have them on my website, but I've got 3 to do and a big backlog so I removed them for now; unless you want to buy and wait a few months

  • I overstruck the crap out a Fiskars splitting axe when I was a beginner, and the integrity of the handle was not the least bit compromised. Overstrike protection isn't all that necessary on Fiskars.

  • @myusernameisluc its a functional piece of art; thats what this is
