I didn't say that there was a supreme moral code. Morality is what is beneficial to the society in which one finds oneself. Killing all black people is NOT beneficial to the society. The government has a responsibility to protect blacks people in this scenario just as much as anyone else.

As a black woman abd non-believer, I never understood why Black people cling to their bibles so hard! Christianity was forced upon us,the bible condoned our captivity,and God never intervened in our plight. I can't get down with that.

I highly doubt Silverman is acting here for the sake of the Muslims or the Jews. The guy above me implied it was offensive to atheists. I don't understand how something religious can be offensive to a group of people who renounced everything to do with religion. I understand that it would be offensive to other religions, though.

Even in during Civil Rights era, the church (and thus the religion itself) was used as a place to discuss strategy since blacks were not allowed to congregate in groups except for when in church. Religion has become cultural at this point.
