  • It's amazing how many people there is, feeling the need to post stupid "the betta is going to drown because lack of air" comments, obviously knowing nothing about this type of tank. Google it, get your facts right, and come back.

  • This is utterly amazing!

  • Ur all idiots it's an open bottom the fish can swim into the bottom half I have one

  • You shouldn't use bamboo, it rots over time when it's kept in water. :|

  • Give a space of air so it can ,ake bubble nest or breathe air!

  • @IAmDampAnkaAgain and obviously knowing nothing about betta splendens, of course :)

  • poor guy :( bettas need to breath from the surface. well thats what mine does. but cool tank tho. i would have it as an amphibian tank for da bottem then for fish on the top part

  • How do you do water changes with an upside down tank?

  • can he come out to like uk where all the gravel and stuff is? this is awsoome

  • betta are air breathers. they like a hit of air even though they have gills. i've heard that bettas can drown if they cant come up for air from their labrynth. my betta make an effort to go up for air all the time even though their tanks have air pumps

  • Why do you people think all fish stores keep betta fish in a plactic cup with about a about 12 oz of water in them? Why do you think all fish stores sell 1 gallon betta bowls...That fish is probably so ecstatic to be able to swim freely.

  • Id recommend an amazon sword plant, they grow a decent size and would look fantastic int he taller portion of the tank. A small cave int he lower portion and some anubis nana plants would make this tank look really good!
