  • Nihang Niddar Singh is walking like an old man because he is demonstrating techniques that can be used by old frail men

  • @0GurtejS In honestly i think Niddar Singh is ill-intentioned. He seems to be knowledgeable in Shaster Vidiya, but it's something many Nihung Singhs in Punjab would know. A lot of his views are misinterpretations of Sri Dasam Granth and other Hindufied views. He doing two things:

    1. Turning Sri Dasam Granth into a Guru, something that will never happen.

    2. Twisting Sri Dasam Granth to his own ill-hindufying Sikhi intentions.

  • @MrRange12345 Sikhs are going to England because of economic reasons as people from other parts of the world do.Slave are ones who have no free will either in their own native country or any other country. You feel discriminated in England because of racial reasons. Is Discrimination not prevalent in India ? in fact India is a country which Institutionalized discrimination in form of CASTE SYSTEM. Read book by B.R.Ambedkar "Annihilation of Caste". Is this not slavery ?

  • @truesikh13 Why Sikhs are again going to live in England and becoming their slave again? And the opposite is not true. I mean no English is going to live in Punjab or India. We Indians are slaves and will remain so, unless we change ourselves.

  • @MrRange12345 English got defeated by Afghans in 19th, 20th and 21st century, Sikhs defeated and dominated afghans . Anglo-Sikh wars were a tale of British deceit and treachery for this Sikh historian and Serving british Officer J.D.Cunningham was demoted for writings in his authored BOOK History of Sikhs, parts of which are still withheld from being published , role of J&K Maharaja is withheld by british because of treaty with erstwhile family of Maharaja. In Fare fighting - British abililty ?

  • I hope he finds a living successor to that martial art (Shastar Vidiya).

  • What is the use of demonstrating martial art skills in front of the English people. English have already defeated Sikh warriors in Second Anglo-Sikh War which took place in 1848 and 1849. The skills of Niddar's forefathers did not work at that time, how they would work in future?

  • sikhs are badass

  • @tokri3:

All martial arts most definitely do NOT come from India; most were created/developed independently from each other, then changed as they were exposed to other flavours and methods of fighting. The oldest record of martial arts currently known would have to be a form of grappling depicted on the walls of Tomb 15 in Ancient Egypt(Tomb of Beni Hasan, I believe.) Last I checked, the tomb dates to the 20th century B.C.

  • I am looking for a master near chandigarh or near chandigarh to learn Shastar vidya , not the gatka form , but the orignal form , if anyone knows please reply me

  • ROTFL!!! The comments of those that don't train in a combat art. LOL. This is great stuff. If you know what to look for and you watch the way this man moves and you can see the nuances that the untrained miss completely expecting a Hollywood action movie, well...you would keep your ignorant comments where they belong...unsaid. As the Zen master said "you must empty your cup so that it may be filled."
