The History of America is one written in triumph and tragedy, in honor and disgrace. We are a nation of Natives and Immiagrants united by a common history and three common ideals as old as humanity itself: Freedom, Equality, and Justice. Wheather we are Liberal or Conservative, Democrat or Republican, Soldier or Civilian, Tea Partier or Coffiee Partier, we must never forget who we are, where we have come from, and what our ancestors, be they Native American, Black, White, Hispanic, or Asian, were so whiling to give their lives for. Though there have been times in our history where our most charished ideals have been thrown aside, and it seems the Dream has lost any meaning, there will always be those who have never forgotten and will give all to ensure the Dream never dies.
Always Remember: The Future is built on the choices made in the Present and on the tragedies and triumphs of the past. To Forget the tragedies of the Past is to allow them to repeat themselves, to allow the tragiedies of the Past to consume you is to become the very evil you claim to be against
