I was there on vacation and sorry but it was so cool to see it, it was more crazy than at my country. I couldnt take my eyes of the lightning(there are no ligthings in Iceland but it happens rarely, Ive seen it 3 times) or the storm

I live in Bloomingdale but was in St. Charles at the time the storm hit. a Tornado touched down a couple blocks from my house.

This was the day my daughter got a car (an old station wagon from my parents). We drove to an open currency exchange to do the title thing and got caught in this....sirens going off; crazy........

yeaa that shit was SCARY AS HELL I was in glendale heights at the time at my boyfriend with my 2 month old (at the time) and we were watching it from his deck and it was far away and then all of a sudden the sky turned a crazy green color and the siren when off and he lives literally ONE block away from where they do the siren...I dont NOT like that siren...expecially that loud...I almost crapped my pants that night...haha

That was a doosy of a storm! Drove up the SW end of the Boughton road this morning and there was a lot of damage. We're less that 2 miles away from the touch down and at this time we were moving to the basement - after the wife told me to get the kids out of the bath. Can't believe how fast it came in as just 15 minutes before we were out in the back yard playing....
It was quite a lightning show!

Indeed it was! After the power went out... and killed my XBOX 360 fun... I spent the next few hours just watching the lights.
