Where is the problem of dirinking or no drinking? He was just himself drunk or sober, any way only a good drinker says he never drink too much. I like Him as he was!

@martbTT It wasn't just an act. He actually did drink quite a bit. Rickles knew this guy better than anyone and he's mentioned this quite a bit.

@TheDeanmartinfan1 Well, maybe to an extent that was true, but he definitely loved to drink. Matter of fact, Rickles has talked about this many times.

ok people he wasn't a drinker i have read many many books on this subject and they say he wasn't and drinker. i have also seen many interveiws with close friends and family they all say the same. he said himself would NBC pay millions of dollars to someone who was loaded all the time. he was not a drinker just a good actor. when rickles talked about him drinking it was a joke. rickles is a comedian. but many others willl say seriously that he did not drink heavily

I've been watching quite a few clips that feature Dean Martin and he's not sober in any one of them.

@lhipsher dean was always sober it was an act, his image, in many books they state that he was naver drunk, sinatra also admited it so he may not seem sober but he was

@TheDeanmartinfan1 he was a well known drinker. and its possible a mixture of cigs and alchy that contributed to his death.

@xxcharmed1xx the cigerates did contribute to his death, but hewas not a big drinker. like i said it was an act he very rarely drank, and his was a really fit man. after his son died he let himself go, the real reson for his death is he did not have the will to live after his son died.
