  • i like when its on the person . id rather just keep it as a pet. it would get to live a longer happier life.

  • Do you really think that a wild animal would live a happier life in a tiny cage waiting for you to come home from work or school or any where? i don't know what you would prefer if you were a wild animal but the animals that we rehabilitate are very happy to return to the wild even though they are well fed and well cared for while they stay with us. maybe you should concider becoming a wildlife volunteer so you can experience the joy of releasing a wild animal back to where they belong.

  • Wow very cool. Do you have any vids with bob cats growling? I think I heard one camping this weekend but am not sure might have been a cougar. Why did this one seem so docile? Was it still young?

  • Hello

No, we do not have any videos with bobcats growling. They generally prefer hiding to growling and only actually growl when being captured for a necessary vet visit. The growls that the kittens do make tend to be on the quieter side, but this may not be the same for an adult bobcat.

  • . This kitten may have seemed docile in the video, and certainly there are times when a kitten is even cuddly with its "mom", but more often the kitten is excited to play and plays as any normal kitten would. The teeth and claws of even a young kitten are much larger and longer than those of a domestic cat, hence the use of protective clothing such as a plastic face mask and long leather gloves.

  • Yes, this kitten is still young for an exact age check out our website as is noted in the beginning of the video (I cannot add the website URL here), email WERC and someone will respond with the bobcat kitten's age at the time of filming and any other questions you might have. Thank you for your inquiry,

    Kate
