A Crash Cymbal at 150 microseconds per frame. The entire video represents about one second of real time action. Recorded as a demonstration for a physics class at Michigan Tech University. There is no audio with this file.

  • @Skyoneer2007 - 1/150us = 6667 FPS.

  • @TheConservationalist Behind the cymbal is a piece of black cloth, not wood. This is not faked. Cymbals really do move that much. Put  'cymbal crash in slow motion' into youtube's search and you can find other examples.

  • It is always fascinating to see the details in everyday objects that you never knew existed before. Something this amazing happened hundreds of times every time you were near a drum set and you never knew. Amazing.
