@derek94gt and you can run it on lower boost on a completely stock Engine until you decide to do another upgrade. Are you looking for something cheaper?
@derek94gt Unless you're going to be building a full blown brand new racing engine on the side, I'd recommend that you just work on the Engine that's in your car and upgrade little by little. There are so many different parts and ways you could go to add power little by little.. 90% of the upgrades you can do on your own on weekends and not be off the road at all. If you want to go big, you can get a used Supercharger on Ebay. It'll add over 100hp, you can install it yourself
@VinnyGN I have 94 gt i plan on getting another motor to build up and swap in so shes not down and out while im building up. Any suggestions? I dont have like 10 grand to just drop so its gonna be pick this up here and there. this one month this maybe in a couple months. Tax time pick up more. ETC.
Its true that 94/95s seem to be the forgotten years but, there are still endless possibilities for them. I hit 350hp with nothing but the Supercharger and upper/lower intake. Youre lucky that your car is stock and from an older gentleman. All you have to do is decide how much HP you want in the end and make a list of mods in order. Ill help in anyway I could.
yeah Im buying it from an older guy I work with its completely stock even the exhaust. I have previously owned 2 91 notchbacks and a 96 cobra. Im kicking myself in the ass for selling the 91's cause man I had a lot of fun building those cars. I have heard stories from 94 and 95 owners saying its sucks not being able to modify them as easy as the old foxes. I'll give it a shot though lol
That's awesome, good luck with it. Is it Stock (or close to stock)? I ask because when you start with a stock engine you know exactly what you're working with.. When I bought mine I bought it from a guy who literally had NO CLUE what was done or what he was talking about so I kinda had to take the engine apart myself to see what was what. Actually, now that I think of it; you'll be fine either way as long as the guy you're buying it from actually knows what was done to it. hahaha
