The under appreciation of Janet LaValley is, sadly, legendary. My only hope is that a fellow Boston musician will take heart of her leaving the scene, and revive it accordingly. Too bad for the record label that dissed her. Tribe was the first show I saw in Boston, and I remember it still.

Wow, a good quality clip. Glad someone found this since I'll never get to see them live. They sound just as intense as on "Here At The Home".

Had no idea they had been around since the late 80's. I got into them around freshmen year in '92 or '93. Hard to find a musically well-structured sound in today's rock band, at least as good as these guys. Pioneers for their time in terms of local brooding gothy rock feel... Ironic re: Rock band. I wish they were still around. I miss all their talent...

Yeah I remember Tribe broke up just after I saw them on Conan TV (Thanksgiving 1994?) LaValley captivated me doing Supercollider. Finding the CD? next to impossible in Toronto. Finally getting the CD special order, I wrote to the RPM managers of the band and they sent me 4 cds and 4 cassettes + bio press kit but no info. Later '97 I discovered Tribe story on an internet site that was built like some kind of KingTut vault of discovery w stories and fotos. Too bad, definitely underappreciated

Jesus Christ, that's one of the most beautiful things I've ever seen, and only 12 people have seen it, and I think I'm three of them....

And the fucking SICK thing is the Guitar Zero bullshit those guys eventually diverted their attention toward, which is the biggest waste of time and money a kid can get his attention diverted toward, gets millions of views a minute.

Well, I guess they got the fucking "JACKPOT" they were looking for.
