@mykerush333 I like a lot of different styles of music and while Mr.White has a couple of catchy tunes I have heard this is not one of them. If Robert Plant torchered a song in the manner Mr.White has done some of the so called covers he has done I would place it in the "GARBAGE" genre not "GARAGE" as I do this work by Mr.White! But as I have said,to each their own.Have a nice day!

@mykerush333 Well sonnyboy it would appear that you missed the portion in my comment stating that I "AM NOT" a C&W fan per se';or did you simply have a problem reading it?Also,I still do not see the "WRITING" insperation to this song due to the fact,"AGAIN","HE DIDN"T WRITE IT" But since you are on what you obviously perceive as an enlightened roll,by all means GURU please enlighten me a to the bands from the 60's that reffered to their music as garage.I must have missed them in my younger days!

where was this?

@yargnodrog the garage sound is the latest cool sound? Garage rock has been the cool sound since the 60's. Go put that Dolly Parton record on and finish weeding the yard. If you don't get it, don't try.

love the crowd at the beginning

@TheRagnaroak Well I certainly respect your right to voice your opinion and more so your right to do so;however,I simply can't fathom what's so great about the cover of a song(a great song)that has been reduced to what to me sounds like the screeching of cat that just had it's tail stepped on.I'm not even a C&W fan for the most part;I simply think Parton is good writer&singer.I understand the Garage sound is the latest COOL sound.I just don't see the writing insperation here;he didn't write it!
I actually just began to cry as a result of Jack White's amazingness
