Kim Clark? Whats a "Kim Clark"...lol Apparently this guy wanted to join the pack ramming more taxes down our throats while he himself might just fill his pockets like the rest of the "Good Old Boys Club" in Congress. One thing about Upton I've noticed over the years is that his net worth goes up very little compared to the rest of Congress.

A true fiscal conservative would run federal spending much the same way a business or family budgets would be run...cut wastful spending (e.g.,pork barrel projects) not spend more than they take in (e.g.,fund wars by cutting taxes--a level of math which defies logic), avoid running up record deficits (e.g., military spending a la Reagan/BushII), and put need over greed (e.g., Ted Stevens). Show me a fiscal conservative today, and I'll show you a live extraterrestrial.

"there all corrupt"? Fred Upton is one of the few republicans to vote against the Bush administration and doesn't hold back to do what he thinks is right including his attack on Newt Gingrich for not compromising with Bill Clinton. I mean not only does the guy read all the mail that people from his state send um, but he doesn't miss the chance to join panel debates whenever possible. If you've ever heard him debate on energy on Cspan he is a hard guy to disagree with.
