BRAND NEW Schindler Escalator at Nordstrom with plastic steps

I dont know what kind this is it doesnt say but they are brand new this is the grand opening and they have plastic steps

i work for schindler servicing the escalators. the only part of the steps that are plastic are the yellow de-markation strips. the rest is aluminum.

not these onse but they may not be schindler because it doesnt say what kind it is I guessed schindler but the whole step is plasic

My uncle works for Schindler, the steps are aluminum, and they're painted that distinctive Schindler Escalator color.

I didn't know that escalators now use plastic steps, but some of the very old ones used wooden steps.
