  • It is a C. Elegans newly fertilized embryonic cell, diving from the 1 cell stage to approximately the 8 cell stage.

    The song just a series of instrumental loops combined together in garageband that I thought fit well with the action.

  • @jen0619 I agree, it does look like meiosis as it is still contained within one membrane when it reaches 4 cells, its meisos 1 and 2 after a fertilized egg cell

  • That's not mitosis, that's meiosis, where there are many divisions within one larger cell. Mitosis happens when one cell replicates itself one time.
